Registration is open for the Tri-District International Project Fair, bringing together Rotary Districts 4110 in Mexico, 5470 in Southern Colorado, and 5520 in New Mexico and West Texas.
The fair will be held August 21–22, 2026, at Colegio San Patricio in Ciudad Juárez, just across the border from El Paso.
The event begins at 1 p.m. Friday, August 21, and is expected to conclude between 1 and 2 p.m. Saturday, August 22. Watch for a more detailed agenda to help attendees make their travel plans.
District Governors Marina Gonzalez of District 4110, Donna Hood of District 5470, and Jeff Weinrach of District 5520 invite Rotarians from all three districts to attend.
What Is a Project Fair?
A Rotary Project Fair connects clubs seeking support for international service projects with Rotarians and clubs interested in becoming partners.
Clubs from all three districts will showcase projects that need financial support, expertise or international partners. Attendees can visit project displays, speak directly with the Rotarians leading the work, exchange ideas and explore opportunities to collaborate through District Grants, Global Grants or other international service efforts.
Your club does not need to have a project to attend. In fact, clubs looking for their first international partnership are especially encouraged to participate. The fair is an opportunity to learn how international projects work, meet Rotarians from Mexico and the United States, and discover projects that align with your club’s interests.
Present a Project
Clubs interested in showcasing a project should be prepared to provide information about:
The project’s purpose and location
The number of people who will benefit
The anticipated timeline
The total project cost
Funding already committed
The amount of additional support needed
Project leaders and participating organizations
The type of Rotary grant being considered
Photos, videos or other supporting materials

Q&A Summary
Can a club submit more than one project? Yes, there's no set limit, though the team may ask you to narrow it down if there are too many submissions to showcase.
Is there a deadline to submit the abstract? No hard deadline was set, but clubs were encouraged to treat the 15th of the month as a soft target so everything is ready in time.
What about the high-res photo deadline? August 7, since standardized project backdrops will be printed ahead of the Fair.
Can projects that aren't tied to a global grant still participate? Yes, hands-on service projects without a grant component are welcome, though the exact form process for these was still being finalized.
Will the presentation and recording be shared afterward? Yes, it will be posted to the district's website or YouTube channel.
Is there internet access at the venue? Yes, WiFi will be available, with passwords posted around the venue.
Can attendees bring their own screens or equipment to their booth? Equipment must fit on the assigned desk, and if you need to plug in a TV or similar device, bring your own extension cord.
How are booth spaces assigned? Spaces aren't pre-assigned; clubs can arrive early and choose their spot, and all spaces are visible with no "bad" locations.
What does the registration fee cover, and what does transportation cost separately? The base registration/enrollment fee is $110; transportation from El Paso is an additional $65 via van and border-crossing service. Most US-based Rotarians should take advantage of the border crossing service but it is not mandatory.
Can I update my registration if my plans change? Yes, contact the district registration contacts (Marina and Jonathan) directly to make changes.
When will the full event agenda be released? Expected by around August 10.
When does the Fair start and end? Roughly Friday early afternoon through Saturday around lunchtime, with a full schedule to follow in the agenda.
Note: Pledges must be honored by March 31, 2028.
