Hi, District 5470!

I'm Kalee Duckworth, and I have the privilege of serving as your District Operations Manager since the end of the 2023-2024 Rotary year. I work behind the scenes helping keep the district organized, supporting our leadership team, coordinating communications and club visits, and making sure all of the little details come together so our district can focus on what matters most, serving others.

Home for me is Grand Junction, where my husband, Jeremy, and I are raising our three amazing girls, McKinley, Averie, and Sawyer, along with our lovable black Lab, Moose, who definitely keeps life entertaining. When we're not running from one activity to the next, you'll usually find us camping, cheering from the sidelines, or simply soaking up everything we love about Colorado's Western Slope.

Outside of Rotary, I own Aesthetic Collective, a photography studio and event space in Grand Junction. I love helping people tell their stories, celebrate life's milestones, and create experiences they'll remember long after the day is over.  

One of the greatest surprises of this role has been discovering what it truly means to be a Rotarian. Before District 5470, I knew Rotary by name, but I had no idea how much heart lived behind that wheel. Traveling to district events, meeting members, and seeing firsthand the impact you make in your communities has been incredibly inspiring. I've learned that Rotary is so much more than meetings and service projects, it's people who genuinely care about making their communities, and the world, a little better than they found it.

It is such a joy to support this district and work alongside so many passionate, generous people. Thank you for welcoming me into the Rotary family. I can't wait to continue meeting more of you throughout the year!
