Rotary District 5470 is looking for a few good Rotarians who are ready to serve beyond the club level.

District service is a wonderful way to meet Rotarians from across Colorado, develop new skills and help clubs thrive. Whether you have professional experience to share, enjoy working behind the scenes or simply want to become more involved, there may be a place for you.

Rotary Foundation Team

Help Rotarians understand the power of giving through The Rotary Foundation and the lasting impact their generosity can create.

We are recruiting volunteers for two leadership positions:

  • Major Donor and Endowment Subcommittee Chair: Help educate and inspire Rotarians about major gifts, endowed support and opportunities to create a lasting Rotary legacy. View the job description here.
  • Paul Harris Society Subcommittee Chair: Promote the Paul Harris Society, encourage participation and help recognize Rotarians who make an annual commitment to support The Rotary Foundation. View the job description here.

Volunteers do not have to know everything on day one. District leaders and Rotary resources will be available to help. For more information about positions with the Rotary Foundation Team, contact Maile Foster at mailefoster.rotary@gmail.com

Interact Chair

District 5470 is seeking an enthusiastic Rotarian to serve as Interact Chair and help strengthen connections between Rotary clubs and young leaders across the district.

The chair supports existing Interact clubs, helps launch new clubs, communicates with advisors and student leaders, organizes online training opportunities and celebrates the service and leadership of Interactors throughout District 5470. The estimated time commitment is approximately three to six hours per month.

Event Planning Team

Do you enjoy bringing people together, organizing details or creating memorable events?

We are looking for several volunteers to help plan district Foundation and recognition events, beginning with a special dinner on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

Help may be needed with decorations, registration, programs, recognition, hospitality, sponsorships, promotion and other event details. Volunteers can assist with one specific task or become part of the larger planning team. You do not have to plan the whole party or personally fold 300 napkins. Contact Maile Foster at mailefoster.rotary@gmail.com for more information.

Public Image Team

Do you enjoy writing, photography, graphic design, social media, videography, website content or storytelling?

The District Public Image Team helps clubs share their accomplishments and connect people with Rotary’s purpose and impact. You do not need to be an expert. Enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to help are excellent qualifications.

To learn more, contact Terri House at pi.rotary.5470@gmail.com and share a little about your interests and what excites you about Rotary.
