The Delta Rotary Club officially kicked off its new organizational year with an action-packed meeting featuring a unique multi-president leadership transition, the induction of a new member, and a traditional, humor-filled initiation for its incoming executive.

The club welcomed Rotary Assistant District Governor Sarah Bishop, who presided over the formal installation of the unique presidential rotation designed for the upcoming term. To maximize leadership strengths and community engagement, three dedicated Rotarians will share the presidential responsibilities over the next 12 months:

• Jim Brown will serve as President for the first six months.

• Steve Butler will assume the role for the subsequent three months.

• Brad Kolman will conclude the term, serving the final three months of the Rotary year.

Following his formal installation, incoming President Jim Brown participated in a lighthearted club tradition, marking the start of his tenure with a celebratory whipped cream pie to the face, much to the delight of the attending members.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to honor outgoing President Mitch Bramlage. The club extended its deep gratitude to Bramlage for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and impactful service to the Delta community over the past year.

Furthering its growth and commitment to local service, the Delta Rotary Club officially inducted its newest member, Ricky Kendrick, into the global fellowship of Rotary International.

"We are entering this new Rotary year with incredible momentum, a deeply committed board, and an innovative leadership approach," said Jim Brown, presiding President. "From honoring Mitch’s hard work to welcoming Ricky’s fresh perspective, our focus remains steadfast on fulfilling our mission of 'Service Above Self' here in Delta."
