This year, we're not just creating impact. We're making sure people see it, feel it, and want to be part of it.

Every Rotary club has powerful stories to tell. Whether it's a service project, member spotlight, youth program, fundraiser, or community partnership, these moments matter. They show who we are, what we do, and why Rotary continues to make a difference.

Our goal is simple: tell Rotary's story in a way that inspires action.

My Rotary story began with the people. I found friendships, connections, and a sense of belonging. Along the way, I discovered something even more meaningful: a community guided by the Four-Way Test and united by a commitment to Service Above Self. Rotary has given me opportunities to serve locally and globally, build lasting relationships, and be part of projects that create real change. That's why I'm proud to be a Rotarian. Now I'd love to hear your Rotary story.

This month, I challenge every club to share just one story that demonstrates the impact you're making in your community. Post it. Photograph it. Celebrate it. Tag it #Rotary5470 so we can amplify it across the district.

Then, share that story with us. Submit your story and photos through our Google Form or email the Public Image Team at pi.rotary.5470@gmail.com. We look forward to showcasing the incredible work happening throughout District 5470.

When we tell our stories well, we do more than inform. We inspire, engage, attract new members, strengthen community partnerships, and expand Rotary's reach.

To help us strengthen communication and build a stronger district-wide network, please send the name and email address of your club's Public Image Chair to pi.rotary.5470@gmail.com. If your club does not currently have a Public Image Chair, we'd love to help identify someone who enjoys storytelling, photography, social media, marketing, or simply sharing the good Rotary is doing.

We're also growing the District Public Image Team. If you enjoy writing, photography, graphic design, social media, videography, website content, or helping others tell their stories, we invite you to join us. Public image isn't just about promotion. It's about helping people connect with Rotary's purpose and impact.

If you're interested, please reach out and tell us a little about yourself, your interests, and what excites you about Rotary. Contact me at pi.rotary.5470@gmail.com. Together, we can ensure the stories of District 5470 create a lasting impact.
