Create art. Build fellowship. Help end polio.

Rotary members know the story of PolioPlus, but a new Camp Big West extension activity gives clubs and districts a colorful new way to help tell it.
As an extension of the Rotary Zones 26 and 27, 2026 Institute experience, PolioPlus Art Kits are now available for a limited time for use at club meetings, district conferences and assemblies, community events, fundraisers, and Rotary youth programs.
Participants can choose between two designs, End Polio Now and Together, We End Polio, then create their own finished painting while learning more about Rotary’s commitment to polio eradication.
The idea is simple: create art while creating conversation about PolioPlus.
Each adult kit includes an 8-by-10-inch stretched canvas, acrylic paint, two paintbrushes, a pencil, the corresponding stencil, and step-by-step instructions. Adult kits are available individually for $40 or in bundles of 30 for $367.50.
Youth kits are available in bundles of 30 for $280 and include the same core materials, with a flat canvas board replacing the stretched canvas and the option of water-based paint. Youth bundles also include an optional facilitator packet that adult leaders can use to guide a discussion about polio and Rotary’s global eradication effort.
More than an art project
The kits can turn an ordinary Rotary gathering into something members and guests actively experience together.
A club might replace a traditional speaker program with a paint-and-fellowship night. A district could offer the activity as a conference breakout session. An Interact or other youth program could pair the kits with a discussion about Rotary’s history and global impact. Clubs could even use the activity to open doors with a school or community group where they do not yet have an established relationship.
And, of course, the kits can become the centerpiece of a PolioPlus fundraiser.
Think Pizza and Paint for Polio, a Dirty Soda and Design Night, a Polio-Free Float Party, brunch, dessert night, or community potluck. Add food, a short PolioPlus presentation, plenty of time to paint and visit, and an opportunity to give.
A 75- to 90-minute program could include 15 minutes to gather and connect, a 10-minute introduction to PolioPlus, 40 to 55 minutes to create the paintings, and 10 minutes to reflect, discuss next steps, and invite support.
For a fundraising event, net proceeds must benefit PolioPlus.
Easy to scale, easy to share
One of the strengths of the project is its flexibility. No previous art experience is required, and clubs can use individual kits for a small gathering or bundles for larger programs.
Participants also leave with something tangible. Instead of hearing about PolioPlus and moving on to the next meeting agenda item, they take home a painting that can keep the conversation going.
That makes the activity especially useful for introducing prospective members, families, Rotary alumni, students, schools, and community partners to Rotary in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Available for a limited time
The PolioPlus Art Kits are being offered under a limited event license, with a total allocation of 2,500 kits, and can currently be shipped only within the United States.
A 6.8% sales tax and shipping will be added to orders. Individual orders will be shipped upon placement, while package orders will be shipped by October 9 unless other arrangements are made. Clubs planning spring programs may request a later delivery date, but those orders must still be finalized by November 10, 2026, or before the available quantity is exhausted.
All net proceeds benefit PolioPlus.
